Hm...not much criticism can be said about this other than it's a crop with no background but that's not an issue since your trying out a new style. So nothing really negative can be said so good job and good luck with the style. But one thing that does nip at my brain is that this character looks extremely similar to the Doctor from Assassin's Creed.

Thanks :)

For a 1st time using nothing but photoshop you did a very well job. The picture turned out just fine as it shows simplicity of how it was drawn out but also detail as seen in the scales and textures. I only have a couple minor setbacks though. Given the point of view that you have drawn Jakiro the one hand seems out of place, now I can tell that he's lifting his arm up but the way it is presented really makes it look like its coming out of his neck. The other thing is the left horn on the ice version, its present from an airial point of view but the horn seems a bit large. But other than that a very well done job.

This piece was done extremely well from shading and gradation to the figure of the female body and how well and detailed the mask and hair is done. Drawing something like this couldn't have been easy and the work shows for how much time you spent into this. The only minor grip I have about the piece is the title is somewhat misleading. I can tell that she is a female tech assassin, but the way she is presented I picture it more of her under cover and sleeping with the enemy to get into their base or get their secrets and than see her put the mask on and finish the job. That's how I see her as in this piece but some people might not pick up on this or envision her like I have. But that's the only grip I have, other than that it is very well done and you should be proud of it.

Qunit responds:

I liked the whole "sleeping with the enemy" concept you brought up, but what i was trying to create is a figure who resembles Kerigan maybe, an assassin who is highly skilled and also very hot :)
I imagined her wearing a clock cape (that's why she's naked...) and only her tech goggles to hunt her targets!
Anyhow - tnx for the warm words, i'm glad you liked it :D

I like it. It has some good details in it, especially in the T-rex and gives a bit of a story so your not hopelessly confused on what's happening (except for those people who question why a T-rex is chasing a rat). The background behind the T-rex needs something in it however; it seems to odd to have a big head and just negative space. The only other criticism I can give is that the bottom jaw of the beast itself seems a little mis-shapened as, it looks like the jaw just goes in instead of tucking into the neck. Other than that pretty interesting piece.

Very well made and simplistic on its own. It catches the viewers eye from tails going down to sonic and knuckles along with other things making it simple and easy for people to understand what this is about. The only negative part about is sonic's mouth and belly area which blend in too much with his super sonic form, but nonetheless a great piece. 5 out 5 not because its just good but because I love sonic. Keep up the good work.

kid-scribbles responds:

thanks for the crit!

The piece is very well made that shows both simplicity and detail. The shirt shows movement in the fabrics the facial expression fits perfectly, and the background is done gorgeously. The only flaw is the foreshortening of the hand and the arm, but it was still done very well and you don't get points off for it because I definitely know how hard foreshortening and perspective is to do. So 5 out of 5.

TheDamnThinGuy responds:

Thank you so much! Constructive critique is always very welcome.
I agree with you, I'll be practicing foreshortening more often. Thanks again!

I definitely find it interesting and unique. I like how you can see the ripples of the underwater specs and waves as if you really feel like it is underwater. The creature is very simplistic and doesn't need a whole lot to know what it is. But from one artist to another the only negative thing about it is the negative space surrounding the sea creature. Even though the background is done beautifully it still feels a bit much for the entirety of the piece. But still great piece and very well done so good job.

This piece is extremely well made form just detail to emphasis on shadow and light. There really isn't anything negative to be said about this piece other than how Batman became infected but that aside a very lavished and intricate piece of art indeed.

Note: Is it just me but does Batman look African American? Because it seems...odd to me

I definitely like the overall idea and piece itself; the use of Acrylic medium is very well done and the idea of it all is interesting and my eye goes straight to the moon from the house so good job on that part. But the only criticism I can give is that the moonlight is shunned out for a secondary light source, and what I mean by this is there is no light reflected or shown on the tree branches our the outer house which would have definitely made the moon a more emphasis but I can you were going for the sickly trees blocking the beautiful moonlight and stars so overall good job.

LittleLuckyLink responds:

Ahh, good point, I didn't actually think of that, thank you!
